Work related asthma

Work related asthma is the disease whose symtoms and pulmonary function tests or bronchial inflammation are related to the work exposure. Occupational asthma and work-exacerbated asthma are included in the group.

Occupational ssthma is induced by work exposure and caused by agents which just are present in the workplace. It is the most frecuent occupational respiratory disease.

Work exhacerbated asthma is the previous disease or concomitant which gets worse due to work conditions, such us chemical irritants exposure, dust, passive smoking, common allergens, and other conditions such as stress, temperatur changes or physical exercises.
