Metals in water

The standards permisible limits of metals in potable water are regulated under the Spanish law by RD 902/2018.

It is also interesting to evaluate the presence of metals in industrial wastewater.

The lab of the National Institute for Silicosis has a Mass Spectrometer with plasma source (ICP-MS), wich allows the simultaneous analysis of most of the elements of the periodic table at trace (ppm or μg / g) and ultratrace (ppb or ng / g) levels.
