Toxic agents

New technologies, materials and production systems expose people to different toxic agents both in  the workplace and at their homes. The huge amount of different agents makes necessary to assess particularly each situation.

The National Institute for Silicosis is involved in the prevention of respiratory diseases and therefore, periodically, conducts risk assessments to toxic agents in emerging technologies and materials.
